Yes, I admit I just love, love, love photography, that I cannot deny - it's been with me for a very long time. I am a Kiwi/Australian - just saying cause I have been a citizen of Australia for about 25 years but my family are still in Kiwi land!

I did the usual things during my twenties, such as travel (which I still love doing!) I also traveled extensively around Australia backpacking, and when I could afford it, I bought myself a beat-up old Holden that became my pride and joy! This is around the time when I discovered photography and photographed everything from reptiles, insects, and landscapes, of course, with the help of some friends. This gave me the opportunity to travel to so many out-of-the-way places that were, to a Kiwi girl, so different from the ever green NZ, I found it scary and alien at times but bloody fantastic! So I am still here, settled now in Perth and loving what I do.

My number one goal is always to capture the beautiful relationship that happens between pet and owner.

I AM THE OWNER AND PHOTOGRAPHER OF WAGGING TALES PET PHOTOGRAPHY WHO LOVES PHOTOGRAPHING FAMILIES AND THEIR PETS AROUND BEAUTIFUL PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA.

more about me

Okay, about me and dogs ... I truly love dogs! But why photograph dogs, I hear you ask? Well, that's the million dollar question! In a nutshell, I had a project to do and that was to photograph dogs. And I loved it! It was fun and hilarious at times, so that was it! I have previously done some portraiture and a couple of weddings but it is the animals that I prefer photographing. It is my comfort zone and we all know if we're lucky enough we should do what we love in life, then it's not really work is it? And that is how I find photographing pets.

Some extra info ...

• I have two children, who are now young adults. I am married to
Trevor, who is my number one person in the whole wide world.
• Once upon a time our family had 2 cats at one time, one
disappeared, we still don’t know where it went to. Hopefully it found a
   good home.
• We had a dog called Max. A Maltese Shih Tzu x, who was with us
   for almost 16 years.
• We’ve also had mice but that’s another story …
• I believe in having actual photographs around the house, they tell
your story. Even though I offer digital files only packages, I always
encourage those who choose digitals to get prints done!
• I believe in including your pets in your photographs. In the past we
often forgot to include them, or we did not think they deserved to
be included in a family photo. Now, thankfully there is nothing wrong
in including them. When they are gone, we will have those
   beautiful photos forever.
